Merge a Mini Army Infantry and Early Tiers

The walking chapter of the Index — from the first soldier to the last rifle that still counts as a person.

Infantry and Early Tiers

Infantry is every model that still looks like a person, plus the Biker that creators treated as the first “vehicle-ish” toy. You will live here longer than the trailers suggest. Camps before the airfield are infantry fights. Neighbors who skip this chapter with packs still lose if they cannot replace the skip.

Sister pages: vehicles, air units, elite units. Grades sit on the troop tier list.

Starter soldier

The first spawn. Merge fuel. Deploying a lone soldier is how you donate a flag to whoever already has shotguns. Keep two empty pad slots so you can always make the next twin. How to merge is the click-by-click.

Shotgun infantry (tier 4)

Bax’s first honest deploy. About 125 health in that session. This is the starter-camp unit. It dies to helicopters. That is not a reason to skip it. It is a reason to stop walking it to the airfield. Getting Started uses this model as the first success condition.

Mid infantry and the bike

Tier 8 and tier 16 talk in footage is still people until the bike appears. The Biker is the emotional upgrade — 22–24 damage in one comparison, slow as a supermarket cart in another. It wins garrisons against leftover shotguns. It does not win airfields. Merge it toward ATV as soon as twins exist.

Elite Riflemen

Late Index infantry. Bax described them as “not even human anymore.” They sit just before Elite Minigun on the way to Elite Tank. If you see this model, you are no longer in the beginner chapter even if you still have a soldier skin in the spawn preview. Do not waste Elite Riflemen on a side flag you cannot hold. Park them for the Elite Tank merge.

How infantry earns its keep

Infantry is cheap refund. When a fight fails, people come home and become the next bike. That is why you send matching stacks, not a museum of leftovers. Best army repeats this for every chapter.

If Spawn Tier still produces soldiers while you are fighting tanks, buy Spawn Tier with cash from how to get cash fast. The roster cannot save a pad that refuses to grow up.

Common infantry mistakes

The first is deploying the only shotgun stack you have while two twins sit unmerged. The second is walking that stack to the airfield because a neighbor did. The third is buying a pack the moment a Biker dies, instead of letting the refund become the next bike. Infantry is cheap on purpose. Treat it like ammo, not like a hero roster.

If Auto Merge is on, infantry mistakes become faster. The pass will happily pair two soldiers while you stare at a heli. You still have to choose the deploy. Best army is the choose-the-deploy page. Game pass tiers is the whether-to-automate page.

A fourth mistake is hoarding Elite Riflemen “for later” while the pad locks. Later is the Minigun merge, not a museum. If capacity is full, you do not have a later.

Camp order for these toys is how to capture camps. The next physical chapter is vehicles and tanks. If a patch adds a new rifle model, it will be noted on weekly updates. Codes will not spawn infantry until a menu exists; see the codes hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Merge a Mini Army questions.

When should I stop deploying infantry?

When your apex is a tank or plane and the flag already has air. Keep infantry as merge fuel, not as the tip.

Is the Biker infantry or a vehicle?

We file it here because it still plays like a person on a toy. The ATV page starts the true vehicle chapter.

Do Elite Riflemen skip tanks?

No. They sit late, after air in the Index walk we saw, and they merge toward Elite Minigun and Elite Tank.

Why do models shrink when they leave the base?

Creators noticed the scale change. It is a presentation quirk, not a stat you can upgrade.
